What is the 24-Hour Treadmill Challenge?

The 24-Hour Treadmill Challenge is a one of a kind, not to be missed Very Special Kids event.

Established in 2012, this flagship fundraising event challenges participants to help keep treadmills in continuous motion for 24-hours to help fund 24-hour care for seriously sick children.

Very Special Kids provides holistic palliative care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and tailored support for their families – through life, death and bereavement. We understand every child’s experience with a life-limiting condition is unique, and

every family requires tailored support specific to their family’s journey. As Victoria’s
only children’s hospice, our free-of-charge services support more than 800 families across Victoria.

24-Hour Treadmill Challenge participants help ensure the families in our care receive the support they need, as they are sponsored for their efforts. Together we hope to raise $900,000 so no family goes on this journey alone.

Event day is like nothing you’ve ever experienced. Nonstop action, music, entertainment, food and lots of very special surprises.
