A team challenge for children in 24-hour care

The 2020 24 Hour Treadmill Challenge is a little different this year – we’re going virtual!

From Friday 1 May, teams all across Victoria will get moving in the virtual 24 Day Challenge. Participants will stay active for 30 minutes every day for 24 days while raising funds for children with life threatening conditions in need of 24-hour care.

What we are all experiencing now is what families supported by Very Special Kids live with every day, but with no end in sight. They are often isolated, always on the lookout for germs that may make their child very ill, and can’t socialise, go to school or work to a regular routine. Let’s rally together to do it for them, to make sure we can continue to provide 24-hour respite care to give these families the break they deserve.

Get your team together, register participants and set everyone a challenge to get active and individually do 30 minutes of exercise a day, for 24 days from Friday 1 May. Set you own challenge – it could be running or walking around the block or in your local park (with appropriate social distancing!) or on a treadmill in your home…taking an online yoga or fitness class…the choice is yours.
